The Utah Army National Guard is deploying to Strawberry Reservoir.

As part of its training, the 1457th Engineer Battalion, 489th Brigade Support Battalion and 204th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade will begin an 11-day project on Saturday at the reservoir.

The units will work with the U.S. Forest Service to reconstruct a portion of the Mud Creek Road and renovate three restrooms at the Soldier Creek and Renegade boat ramps and Aspen Grove campground.

The renovations will train solders to support disaster-response operations. Residents and visitors should watch out for military traffic at Strawberry Reservoir.

The Utah National Guard is encouraging residents to follow the training and improvements on Twitter with the hashtag #berryimproved.
